Spurs sign Andre Miller for remainder of season

The San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran point guard Andre Miller for the remainder of the season, the team announced Monday.
Terms of his contract were not disclosed.
This comes on the heels of the Spurs officially waiving guard Ray McCallum, clearing up a roster spot for Miller.
The 17-year pro cleared waivers Saturday after reaching a contract buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 3.4 points and 2.2 assists during his stint with the team.
Miller will be eligible to suit up for San Antonio during their inevitable postseason run, as his buyout was completed prior to the March 1 deadline.
He will also continue to wear No. 24.
