Andersen (knee) was traded from the Heat to the Grizzlies on Tuesday as part of a three-team deal that also includes the Hornets, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Courtney Lee is the key piece on the move, as he'll head to the Hornets, while the Grizzlies receive P.J. Hairston and two future second-round picks from the Hornets, as well as Andersen and a pair of second-round picks -- one of which is heavily protected -- from Miami. Brian Roberts will head from the Hornets to the Heat to complete the trade. Andersen is likely just a throw-in in the deal that will create salary relief for the Heat, as he's appeared in only seven contests this season, logging fewer than 40 total minutes. That said, the 37-year-old saw nearly 20 minutes per game across 60 contests last season, and the Grizzlies are desperate for help at center following Marc Gasol's likely season-ending foot injury, so it's possible Andersen could see a larger role in his new destination.
