VIDEO: Westbrook forgets Thunder are facing the Warriors on Saturday

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma City Thunder (38-13) and Golden State Warriors (45-4) will enter their highly-anticipated meeting on Saturday at Oracle Arena with all the momentum in the world, as both sides are riding five- and eight-game winning streaks, respectively.

The matchup everyone is dying to see comes at the point guard position, with Russell Westbrook set to square off with reigning league MVP Stephen Curry, who recently predicted wins for both the Warriors and Carolina Panthers this weekend. The two All-Stars put forth monstrous performances on Wednesday night, with Westbrook notching his third straight triple-double against the Orlando Magic, while Curry dropped 51 points on the road against the Washington Wizards.

Following his team's 117-114 win over the Magic, Westbrook was asked by reporters whether he was looking forward to Saturday's game.

Too bad he completely forgot it was going down:

The Warriors won three of their four meetings against the Thunder in 2014-15, including a convincing 117-91 win on Jan. 5, 2015.
