Jameer Nelson (wrist) will not play Wednesday against Utah, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Nelson (wrist) won't play Wednesday against the Jazz, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Nelson experienced a setback in his recovery from a wrist injury earlier in the week, and Wind's report indicates that Nelson could now miss extended time. The Nuggets have yet to offer up a timetable, but Nelson will sit out Wednesday's game, and at this point it seems unlikely that he'll be available Friday against the Bulls. In Nelson's absence, rookie Emmanuel Mudiay will continue to see big minutes, with Randy Foye likely filling in as the backup point guard.
