Mavs' Harris, Barea expected to play vs. Hawks

The Dallas Mavericks' backcourt may be getting a much-needed boost as Devin Harris and J.J. Barea are expected to suit up Wednesday versus the Atlanta Hawks, according to Mavs.com's Earl K. Sneed.

Harris, 32, missed Monday's game after sustaining a rib injury one night prior against the Washington Wizards.

His diminutive running mate, Barea, has been out considerably longer - since Nov. 25 - due to an ankle injury.

Reserve floor general Raymond Felton has filled in admirably, scoring in double figures thrice since Barea's injury, and coming four assists shy of a triple-double in the game in which Harris went down.

The timing of Harris and Barea's return couldn't be better, as the Hawks boast a potent point guard tandem of Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder - a two-pronged attack which produces a combined 26.6 points and 10.8 assists on the season.
