Nik Stauskas (knee) will not play for the three road games ahead and is expected to be out for a week, Keith Pomper of the Philly Inquirer reports.

Stauskas (knee) won't play in the 76ers' three-game road trip that begins Wednesday in Boston and concludes Nov. 29 in Memphis, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Stauskas was diagnosed with a left knee contusion after exiting early in Monday's loss to Minnesota, and the Sixers decided it was in the shooting guard's best interest to sit out for a few games. After Stauskas' departure Monday, Isaiah Canaan ended up soaking up most of the minutes at shooting guard, so he could end up stepping into a starting role during the road trip. Robert Covington and Jakarr Sampson also figure to see increased minutes in light of Stauskas' absence.
