Wade returns to practice, says son's condition is stable

Dwyane Wade returned to Miami Heat practice Saturday, and thanked fans and media for their concern about his 8-year-old son, Zion.

The boy was hospitalized earlier this week, and Wade missed Thursday's game as a result.

The veteran NBA superstar did not disclose any further information about his son's condition, other than to say he is doing better. "The biggest thing is every day you see improvement, so you're able to feel a little more at ease," Wade told reporters. "As the week goes on, I feel a little more at ease."

"He's doing better, so I appreciate everybody's support and prayers," he added. "I've got so many people who have reached out to me, my son."

The Heat also welcomed back Gerald Green to practice from suspension on Saturday. Winners of three in a row, the team is off until Tuesday, when it hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves.
