The Knicks were optimistic that Afflalo would be back Friday, but his hamstring injury is clearly still irritating him and preventing him from playing. The Knicks' backcourt could really use Afflalo, as his absence has caused New York to rely on the inconsistent play of Sasha Vujecic and Jose Calderon. As long as Afflalo is absent, expect Vujecic and Calderon, along with fellow guards Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant, to pick up the backcourt slack.
