Nuggets' Chandler 7-10 days away from return; Nurkic 'a ways away'

Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler is about 7-10 days away from a return to game action, according to the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey, as he recovers from an ailing hip.
Dempsey reported Wednesday that Chandler would likely miss one-to-two weeks.
The update is promising as the Nuggets could use the services of one of the team's key cogs - Chandler averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 2014-15.

Head coach Mike Malone also mentioned that center Jusuf Nurkic - who is ineligible to play, let alone practice, due to a surgically repaired knee - still has a ways to go before suiting up again.
