The Miami Heat signed undrafted free agent Briante Weber to a training camp contract, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
Weber's college career at VCU ended last season after he tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus in January. The two-time Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year was only 12 steals shy of becoming the NCAA's all-time career leader.
The wiry defensive specialist averaged almost four steals per game to go along with 8.1 points and 4.3 assists in his senior season.
