Rihanna emphatically shuts down dating rumors surrounding Matt Barnes

Rihanna wasn't exactly pleased with Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes' characterization of their relationship.

Barnes was confronted by a TMZ reporter regarding rumors of his supposedly budding relationship with pop icon Rihanna - or "Bad Gal RiRi" as she's known on Instagram. Barnes jokingly played along, suggesting their friendship was blossoming into something more and that the two had gone on a date.

Rihanna, however, promptly shut down Barnes's attempt at humor with a series of ruthless hashtags in an Instagram post:
