The NBA Draft has been a mainstay in New York City since 2001, and the league announced Tuesday that this year's version will be held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center for the third straight year.

The draft happens June 25, with the lottery going on May 19. New York-area product Karl-Anthony Towns, fellow big man Jahlil Okafor and guard D'Angelo Russell are widely considered to be the top three prospects.

For many years, the draft took place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. It was held at the Prudential Center in Newark in 2011 and 2012, before moving to Brooklyn in 2013.
