Iman Shumpert: (Groin) Remains Hopeful For Game 3

Shumpert (groin) will go through shootaround Friday before the team makes a decision on his status for Game 3, Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert tweaked his groin in Game 2, and while it doesn't look to be anything serious, he's still dealing with some discomfort, and there is a chance he could sit out Game 3. With J.R. Smith set to return from suspension, the Cavs could weather the blow, but a Shumpert absence would likely mean more minutes for James Jones and Mike Miller, two players who come nowhere close to matching Shumpert's ability on the defensive end.
