Afflalo (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a strained right shoulder and will miss 1-to-2 weeks.

Analysis:

The injury occurred late in Thursday's loss to the Warriors, as Afflalo was seen favoring the shoulder while on the bench during a timeout. Initially feared to be a tear of some sort, the 1-to-2 week timetable comes as somewhat of a relief to the Blazers, though with the playoffs set to begin in eight days, they'll need Afflalo at peak health after losing Wes Matthews (Achilles) for the season. In Afflalo's absence, Allan Crabbe and C.J. McCollum will see increased time, and McCollum is most likely to move into the starting five.
