Analysis:

Green will move into the Suns' starting lineup until Thursday's trade acquisition, Brandon Knight, is ready to join his new teammates on the court. While that dynamic should not only help Green's short-term value Friday, his longer-term stock should also benefit greatly from Phoenix also trading Isaiah Thomas this week. As a result, Green could become the Suns' first guard off the bench for the remainder of this season, potentially offering more minutes to boost his production. Earlier in the season, Green averaged 15.9 points 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 25 minutes per game over an eight-game stretch where he was the first guard off the bench. After the departures of Thomas and Goran Dragic on Thursday, it would not be surprising to see similar numbers as his role may expand.
