Monta Ellis: (Hip) Out Wednesday

Ellis (hip) is not expected to play against the Jazz on Wednesday, the Star Telegram reports.

Analysis:

Ellis only managed to spend four minutes on the court Monday before exiting the game with an injury to his left hip. The exact severity of the injury is still unknown, but Ellis will get an extended break as the Mavericks won't play again until after the All-Star break against the Thunder on Feb. 19. In his absence, Devin Harris and Raymond Felton will likely see extra time on the court.
