VIDEO: Top 5 highlights of the week

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Time flies when you're having fun and all NBA teams passed the midway point of the season this past week. Here are this week's top five highlights.

5. KD steals, goes coast-to-coast for slam

As we look ahead at the stretch run of the season, it's not news that Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to be a story to watch.

4. Love to LeBron

I don't want to speak too soon, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to roll. When they paired LeBron James with Kevin Love, it was pretty outlet passes-turned-dunks like this that everyone had in mind.

3. Jordan has the upper hand

DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers loves finishing alley-oops with big dunks. After throwing this one down over top of the Brooklyn Nets' Brook Lopez this week, Jordan humbly diverted all attention and thanks to his hands

2. Lowry swats Bucks' Knight

With credit to Canada and no thanks to noteworthy Canadian Justin Bieber, Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry got a deserved All-Star starting spot this week, a result of leading the Raps offensively.

Yet Lowry had a spectacular defensive contribution this week, filthily rejecting Brandon Knight of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Kyle Lowry just humiliated Brandon Knight.

1. Thompson goes off for record 37 points in a quarter

It's clear that Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors wanted to make his case for being an All-Star.
