The Boston Celtics confirmed Sunday that an MRI on Kelly Olynyk's right ankle indicated that the second-year center will miss an extended period of action.

"He's out a couple of weeks, at least," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said.

The second-year center rolled the ankle badly during Thursday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Canadian is averaging 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season.
