P.J. Hairston has flopped himself out of five large.
On the day the Oscar nominees were announced, the Charlotte Hornets' rookie shooting guard not only got no love on the ballot for his overwrought and wholly unconvincing performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night, he got dinged with a $5,000 fine from the NBA.
That's the league's standard fine for a second flopping violation - the first results in a warning - but maybe it should've made an exception for this beauty, which really belongs in a category all its own:
