Anthony (knee) has officially been ruled out for Monday's game against Memphis, Steve Popper of The Record reports.

Analysis:

As expected, coach Derek Fisher will hold Anthony out for the third straight game as the star continues to battle knee soreness. Fisher indicated that Anthony may sit out the rest of the week, so at this point it appears unlikely he plays Wednesday in Washington, Thursday against Houston and Saturday against Charlotte. In his absence, J.R. Smith will likely continue to start alongside Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Jose Calderon in the backcourt.
