Amar'e Stoudemire: (Rest) To Sit Out Sunday

Stoudemire (rest) is officially out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Stoudemire has continued to receive rest days every once in awhile throughout the season and he'll have his second game in a row off on Sunday. Coach Derek Fisher wants to increase his rest days moving forward, so he may see more as the season goes on. Jason Smith will most likely see extra minutes with Stoudemire's absence. He should be back for the Knicks' next game.
