Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry and Portland Trail Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge were rewarded for monster weeks.

Lowry averaged an NBA-best 29.3 points per game, including dropping a career-high 39 points against the Utah Jazz on Dec. 3, to win the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award for the third time in his career.

Aldridge, meanwhile, averaged 27.0 points and 11.7 rebounds to lead the red-hot Trail Blazers to a 3-0 record to capture the Western Conference Player of the Week honors. It marks the seventh time in Aldridge's career he has been named the West's Player of the Week.

The Trail Blazers have taken advantage of a hobbled Oklahoma City Thunder team to build a seven-game lead in a weak Northwest Division. Aldridge, averaging 22.3 points and 7.5 rebounds, is as responsible for Portland's 16-4 record as any player on the team.

Lowry, averaging a career-high 21.6 points to go along with 7.2 assists and 5.1 rebounds, has the Raptors off to a franchise-best 15-5 start and the best record in the Eastern Conference.
