VIDEO: Top 5 highlights of the week
The first week of December is in the books, and certain things are starting to come into focus in the NBA.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a roll, and the Golden State Warriors are still smoking hot. The Philadelphia 76ers managed to win a few games, but hot on their heels in the Atlantic Division basement are the New York Knicks, victims of Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets (pictured) on Friday.
Which brings us to the top five highlights. You might notice the recurring theme of point guards delivering electrifying blocks.
5. Blake Griffin gonna Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers were hosting the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday and, for some reason, Austin Rivers appeared to pull down Griffin's shorts. No problem, Griffin probably thought, before he demoralized the Pelicans with this jam.
4. John Wall or Berlin Wall?
You'll have to excuse the lame attempt at geopolitical humor. But how else to wittily label John Wall's emphatic rejection on Wilson Chandler of the Denver Nuggets?
3. Kemba Walker's nasty crossover
Few things are as entertaining to watch as speedy guards breaking defenders' ankles. But what Kemba Walker did to Nikola Mirotic of the Chicago Bulls evokes legitimate feelings of sympathy.
2. Giannis drops the hammer on Bosh
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Chris Bosh are the same height. When you consider that and watch this Vine on loop for an hour, you realize what a special talent the Greek Freak is.
1. Walker rejects Jose Calderon with vigor
There are no words.
