Carmelo Anthony: (Back) Will Travel With Team

Anthony (back) is expected to fly with the Knicks to Dallas after he visits a Houston hospital to receive pain medication, The New York Times reports.

Analysis:

Anthony injured his back in the first half of Monday's game against Houston and ultimately did not return. He was unable to address the media after the game due to the amount of pain and was sent to a local Houston hospital to receive a certain type of pain medication that is not kept at the Toyota Center. The Knicks don't play Dallas until Wednesday, although Anthony seems be dealing with a considerable amount of pain and should be considered day-to-day.
