Taj Gibson: Leaves With Sprained Ankle

Gibson (ankle) suffered a left ankle sprain and will not return to Friday's game.

Analysis:

It looked to be a pretty severe sprain, as Gibson could not leave the court under his own power. Consider him day-to-day for now, but he will likely miss at least a few games. With Pau Gasol (calf) also ailing, Nikola Mirotic may finally start to see the kind of significant frontcourt minutes his skills would typically dictate, making him an intriguing add in the short term.
