Magic's Aaron Gordon undergoes surgery, out indefinitely

Bill Streicher / USA Today Sports

Orlando Magic rookie power forward Aaron Gordon will be out indefinitely after undergoing surgery Friday, reports John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com

Gordon suffered a foot fracture last week after playing a contest against the Washington Wizards. The fourth pick of this summer's draft is averaging 5.8 points on 58.1 percent shooting on the season.

Given that the Magic likely wont factor into the playoff hunt this season, they will probably take the cautious approach and not rush Gordon back in the lineup. The hyper-athletic big showed signs of developing into a strong defender with the skills to finish with power around the basket.
