Anthony Davis: Sprains Wrist Monday

Davis sprained his right wrist Monday at Washington and is questionable to return, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

After a hard fall Monday, Davis' wrist was wrapped by the training staff. The series of events will likely keep him out of commission for the remainder of Monday's exhibition, but not before destroying the Wizards' frontcourt to the tune of 14 points (7-8 FG), eight rebounds, two blocks, and one assist in 21 minutes. Consider him day-to-day in advance of the Pelicans' final preseason tilt Thursday versus the Mavericks.
