PHOTO: After expressing interest in buying Hawks, Chris Webber meets with Dominique Wilkins
It's entirely possible these two former NBA superstars just decided to meet and catch up over coffee.
But given that both Chris Webber and Dominique Wilkins have been tied in recent days to the impending sale of the Atlanta Hawks - with Webber publicly confirming Thursday that he's part of an ownership group looking to buy the franchise - it seems likely that the two had some business to discuss.

There are still a ton of unknowns in the ongoing search for new Hawks ownership, including the other members of Webber's group, how exactly Wilkins might be involved, the other interested groups and the percentage of the franchise that will be made available in the sale.
Some of those answers may come soon, while others may take longer. But Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed, who is reportedly assisting with the sale, has offered the end of the calendar year as a reasonable timeline for having new owners in place - this with the express goal of keeping the team in Atlanta.
Wilkins played 12 NBA seasons in Atlanta, made nine straight All-Star games (1986-94) and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played and points. He currently serves as the Hawks' Vice President of Basketball operations and as Special Advisor to CEO Steve Koonin.
