Cavaliers' Love forced to leave preseason game with sore neck

Frank Victores-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The Cleveland Cavaliers received a scare during Wednesday's preseason contest against the Indiana Pacers.

Star power forward Kevin Love was sidelined for the second half of the game with a sore neck, but the team says he'll be fine, reports Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Love, who entered the game with a sore right knee, stayed in the locker room for the second half after scoring five points and hauling in four rebounds in 17 minutes.

It's unclear whether Love will be available for Cleveland's next preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
