Irving (ankle) won't play in Tuesday's showdown with the Bucks, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.

Analysis:

This comes as no surprise, as coach David Blatt said he'd like Irving to practice before returning to game action. With the Cavs beginning a back-to-back set, Irving could also sit out Wednesday's contest, as he won't be able to practice until Thursday. The Cavs will also be without LeBron James (rest) on Tuesday, and Tristan Thompson (shoulder) is a game-time call.
