The Detroit Pistons have reportedly added former NBA forward Pat Garrity as director of strategic planning, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Garrity spent 10 years in the NBA, retiring in 2008 after two torn ACLs. His last season was in 2008, when he played under new Pistons head coach and president Stan Van Gundy.
Garrity has had success in his post-basketball career in the financial industry, and spent eight years as a high-ranking member of the NBA Players Association.
