Shumpert believes that playing in coach Derek Fisher's triangle offense will put him in better position to be successful this season, the NY Post reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert started 58 of the 74 games he played in last season, but it's unknown who Fisher will ask to start for the Knicks this season. Carmelo Anthony is a lock at small forward or power forward, and Jose Calderon seems like a lock to start at point guard, but it's unclear who will start at the other three open positions. If Shumpert can find consistency this season and carve out a decent-sized role, he could be a boon in head-to-head leagues where his steals can make him a great piece of fantasy rosters, but based on his history of inefficiency, we're avoiding Shumpert in most rotisserie leagues at this point. He shot a deplorable 38 percent from the field last season.
