Report: Clippers' Doc Rivers looking to recruit Ray Allen

The 18-year veteran Allen is an obvious target for contending squads. Despite his age (39), Allen remains a productive player, having averaged 9.6 points, 28 rebounds and two assists per game with the Miami Heat last season.
Most importantly, Allen's three-point game is still on-point. The all-time leader in three-pointers connected on a respectable 37.5 percent of his tries last season.
Clippers head coach Doc Rivers' connection with Allen traces back to when they were both with the Boston Celtics. The pair won a title together in 2008.
