Leonard (shoulder) will not play in Sunday's Las Vegas Summer League game versus the Rockets.

Analysis:

The nature of the shoulder injury is unknown, but it caused Leonard to sit out Saturday's contest as well. Participating in his third summer league, Leonard enters a critical offseason during which he'll need to prove to the Blazers that he's taken significant steps forward. The 2012 lottery pick saw time in only 40 games last season after appearing in 69 as a rookie. And with the recent addition of Chris Kaman, Leonard's chances of sneaking up the depth chart appear bleak. He'll open the season as the fourth center behidn Robin Lopez, Kaman and Joel Freeland.
