Report: Cavaliers will start head coach interviews with Adrian Griffin on Tuesday

Stephen R. Sylvanie / USA Today

Chicago Bulls assistant coach Adrian Griffin will reportedly be the first of many candidates interviewing for the vacant Cleveland Cavaliers head coaching position.

Griffin is expected to meet with Cavaliers management Tuesday, kicking off a busy week for Cleveland. Alvin Gentry, Tyronn Lue, Vinny Del Negro and Lionel Hollins are also on the interview list for the week.

Griffin worked under Tom Thibodeau with the Bulls in 2010 after two seasons as an assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks. He entered the NBA as an undrafted player in 1999 and played for five different teams in his nine-year career.
