Under the advice of his surgeon upon initially suffering an ACL tear in April of 2013, Gallinari opted to delay a repair with the hope that the ligament would recover enough to avoid the procedure. Alas, that didn't come to pass, but with time still on his side, the Italian intends to be "ready for training camp."
