Pelicans' Eric Gordon out Wednesday vs. Nuggets

New Orleans Pelicans guard Eric Gordon will miss Wednesday's game against the Denver Nuggets with a knee injury.

However, coach Monty Williams said the team does not plan to shut Gordon down for the season, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Williams said that Gordon's status will be determined on a game-by-game basis moving forward, with his placement in the lineup dependent on how much pain he experiences from his knee tendinitis. Gordon has been out since Mar. 21 with the knee issue, something that has been a recurring problem for him throughout his tenure in New Orleans.
