Booker stands to gain a starting birth as a result of teammates Nene and Kevin Seraphin both being ruled out with knee injuries of opposing severity. While Seraphin is merely experiencing soreness/swelling, Nene is expected to be shelved for the next four-to-six weeks with a sprained MCL. Given the latter consideration, Booker was already in line to receive more playing time and Tuesday's game against the Magic marks the first occasion in which he'll enjoy that benefit.
