Calderon will play Monday in Houston, after he was kneed in the back in the Mavericks' previous game Saturday at Phoenix, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. "It's actually better than expected," Calderon said. "I can move and the day off [Sunday] was good."

Analysis:

After taking a knee to the back from the Sun's Eric Bledsoe, Calderon collapsed to the court but remained in a game in which he posted nine points (4-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block in 31 minutes. Expect Calderon to earn his typical run of 31 minutes Monday, though his production could be slightly hindered once again.
