Pacers' Al Jefferson: Out Monday vs. Pistons

Jefferson (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the 76ers, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Jefferson was cleared to play in the Pacers' last two contests, but he ended up being held out both games for additional rest and recovery. It appears Jefferson may still be dealing with some lingering discomfort and he'll once again sit out Monday. Jefferson's next shot to play will be Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Hawks, but in the meantime, Kevin Seraphin should continue to serve as the team's backup center behind Myles Turner.
