Veteran Jason Terry and the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks were on the receiving end of a 31-point beatdown courtesy of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, with All-Star Russell Westbrook notching his record-tying 41st triple-double of the 2016-17 campaign.

As far as Terry is concerned, Westbrook's performance all but clinched this year's NBA Most Valuable Player award.

"He put his stamp on it tonight. He is the MVP. There is no question," Terry said following Milwaukee's 110-79 road loss at Chesapeake Energy Arena, according to CNHI Oklahoma's Fred Katz.

"I had (James) Harden all year long, but after witnessing it up close and personal, how can you not give it to a guy who has accomplished such a feat? I mean, he earned it. He really went and took it."

Westbrook finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists in 27 minutes of action Tuesday, tying Oscar Robertson's mark of 41 triple-doubles, set in 1961-62 as a member of the Cincinnati Royals.

Along with Westbrook and Harden, both Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James are expected to garner their fair share of support when MVP votes are tabulated.

The winner will be revealed during a ceremony on June 26 at Basketball City at Pier 36 in Manhattan, NY.
