Jazz's Gordon Hayward: Remains questionable for Monday vs. Pelicans

Hayward (quadriceps) didn't participate in the Jazz's morning shootaround and remains questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans, Jody Genessy of Deseret News reports.

Analysis:

Hayward's left quad injury is just a bruise, so while it's possible that the team is remaining cautious with their star player by keeping him out of shootaround, it looks as if he's still at risk of missing the contest. The Jazz will likely check back on Hayward's condition closer to pregame warmups before determining his status, but in the event that he's ruled out, Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson would likely pick up most of his minutes.
