The good news for the Atlanta Hawks is an MRI on Paul Millsap's left knee came back clean on Sunday. The bad news is the team's best player missed his fifth straight contest against the Brooklyn Nets.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said Millsap has experienced swelling in the knee, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Chris Vivlamore.

"Hopefully between now and then he makes more progress and there is a chance but at this point we don't know about Tuesday," Budenholzer said.

The issue is becoming concerning for the Hawks as the team has lost six straight and is 0-7 this season without Millsap.

The 32-year-old is the Hawks' leading scorer and is second on the team in assists.

To compound matters, both Kent Bazemore and Thabo Sefolosha also did not play Sunday with right knee and groin issues, respectively.
