Nets' Jeremy Lin: Returns to starting lineup

Lin (ankle) started at point guard and scored 13 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT) while adding five assists and three rebounds in 21 minutes during Thursday's 126-98 win against the Suns.

Analysis:

After missing a game with a sprained ankle, Lin was productive in his return. There was no announcement that his minutes would be limited, and he also saw only 21 minutes in his last fully healthy game. Since the Nets were up big the entire second half, it's hard to know whether his minutes were limited due to caution, circumstance, or this is simply the role he should expect to see going forward. In the eight games before the ankle injury, Lin averaged 25.3 minutes per night.
