Bulls' Robin Lopez: Ejected from Tuesday's OT loss

Lopez scored 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, three blocks and one assist across 25 minutes before being ejected from Tuesday's 122-120 overtime loss to the Raptors.

Analysis:

He got into a brief fistfight with Serge Ibaka in the third quarter that got both players sent to the showers, and while the ejections might have been a net win for the Bulls from a talent perspectivem they missed Lopez's presence on the defensive end during a fourth quarter in which the Raptors overcame a 15-point deficit to send the game to extra time. The 28-year-old center now has 15 blocks in 11 March contests, but Lopez's other statistical contributions remain modest. The Bulls are back on the schedule Wednesday against the Pistons, so word should be provided in advance if Lopez faces a suspension for his skirmish with Ibaka.
