Thunder's Russell Westbrook: No concern about hand heading into Wednesday

Coach Billy Donovan said that Westbrook, who sustained a blister in Monday's loss to the Warriors, isn't in any danger of missing Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

Westbrook suffered through one of his worst performances of the season Monday, providing only 15 points (4-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 27 minutes. He suffered a floor burn on his right hand when he slid across the court upon being fouled by the Warriors' Draymond Green in the third quarter, but was able to play through the injury, which eventually turned into a blister. After receiving treatment after the game, Westbrook was able to partake in the team's non-contact practice Tuesday, though Donovan said the point guard wouldn't have been involved if there was contact. In any case, Westbrook shouldn't face any limitations heading into Wednesday, and he may be in store for a bounce-back performance as he takes on one of the league's worst defensive teams.
