Hawks' Dwight Howard: Racks up 10 boards, five steals Saturday
Howard registered 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, five steals, three assists and one block across 34 minutes in a 113-97 loss to the Trail Blazers on Saturday.
Analysis:
Howard took advantage of some sloppiness by the opposition, as the Trail Blazers' 20 turnovers enabled the center to establish a new season high in steals. While Howard is more known for his shot-blocking skills, he's been nearly even in both rejections and steals this season. He's averaging 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steal per game, the smallest disparity between the two categories in any of his 13 NBA seasons.
