Magic's Terrence Ross: Another modest effort Thursday

Ross provided eight points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and one block over 25 minutes in Thursday's 122-92 loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Ross continues to offer only modest production out of the starting small forward spot, with Thursday's game marking his second straight eight-point effort. He's also been held scoreless over 28 minutes and has posted five-and-six-point tallies over nine March contests after starting his Magic tenure with contributions of 13 and 24 points, respectively, in his first two games. While there's no indication his first-string role is in jeopardy, former starter Jeff Green continues to make solid contributions off the bench and could conceivably be brought into the starting five at some point before the season ends, a move that would revert Ross to the reserve role that he was often solid in while with the Raptors.
