Hornets' Kemba Walker: Goes cold in loss Wednesday
Walker scored seven points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with four assists and one rebound across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 98-77 loss to the Pacers.
Analysis:
Walker laid down perhaps his worst performance of the season Wednesday and the Hornets were soundly defeated as a result. He scored fewer than 10 points for just the second time all year and broke an impressive nine game streak in which he scored at least 20 points-- it was his longest such streak of the season. The writing may have been on the wall for Walker who shot just 9-for-24 from the field in the Hornets previous two games. Without much more room for decline, it's hard to imagine the All Star point guard not bouncing back very soon.
