Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: Out again Monday vs. Mavericks

Carroll (ankle) will sit out Monday's matchup with the Mavericks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.

Analysis:

Carroll continues to work his way back from a lingering ankle issue and after testing out the injury during pregame warmups, he's opted to shut it down for at least one more game to prevent any additional aggravations. Norman Powell should draw a second consecutive start at small forward after posting 14 points and one rebound across 35 minutes on Saturday against the Heat. Carroll's next opportunity to play will be Thursday against the Thunder.
